Become "dumber" to attract the life you want
Most of us have been taught that we need to become smarter if we want to create a better life. We need to read more books, learn more strategies, build a better plan, and understand exactly how everything works before we can expect to succeed. When something isn’t working, our natural response is to think harder. We study what other successful people did, examine every available option, and keep searching for the one missing answer that will finally make everything fall into place. It seems logical that the more we understand, the easier it should become to attract the money, relationship, success, freedom, and dream life we want.
But what happens when all that intelligence still doesn’t produce the result? What happens when you have analyzed every possibility, considered every outcome, and created multiple plans, yet you still feel trapped in the same place? That is where the idea to become dumber to attract the life you want begins to become interesting. It sounds wrong because it challenges almost everything we have been taught about success, problem-solving, and creating results. However, before dismissing it as ridiculous, we need to look honestly at whether always needing to understand, predict, and figure everything out is helping us—or whether it could be part of the reason we remain stuck.
